The world is watching… and waiting. As Israel and Iran continue fighting for the 7th straight day, everyone is wondering one thing:
Will former U.S. President Donald Trump jump into the war?
When asked if he would support Israel by attacking Iran’s nuclear sites, Trump looked serious and said something mysterious:
“I might do it… or I might not. No one knows what I’ll do.”
This confused many people—including world leaders, reporters, and especially people living in the middle of the war.
💬 Talks or Missiles?
Trump said Iranian leaders once wanted to talk to him, but now he’s not sure it matters anymore.
“It might be too late,” he added.
At the same time, Germany, France, and Britain are trying to convince Iran to only use its nuclear program for peaceful reasons—not for making bombs. They’re meeting Iran’s officials in Geneva to try and calm things down.
🚨 Tehran in Panic
While leaders are talking, people in Tehran (Iran’s capital) are scared. Roads are packed as families try to escape the city.
“My friend’s house was hit,” said Arezou, a woman who fled Tehran. “Her brother was hurt. We’re just civilians!”
🇮🇱 Israel’s Attacks Are Growing
Israel says it destroyed Iran’s police headquarters and even shot down drones sent from Iran. They say they’re going after:
-
Nuclear sites
-
Missile factories
-
Government buildings
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said:
“We’re hitting everything that threatens us.”
And he thanked Trump for being a “great friend” and staying in close contact during this war.
💣 Will the U.S. Join the Fight?
News reports say Trump already approved plans to strike Iran — but he’s waiting. He wants to see if Iran will stop its nuclear program first.
When asked if he thinks Iran’s government could fall, Trump said:
“Sure, anything could happen.”
But he also warned:
“Only the U.S. has the power to destroy Iran’s Fordow nuclear center… but that doesn’t mean I’ll do it.”
Fordow is a very secret place, hidden under a mountain, which makes it extremely hard to destroy without help from the U.S.
😡 Iran Responds
Iran’s top leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86, finally spoke on TV.
“If America joins the fight, there will be terrible damage. We won’t surrender,” he warned.
Iran called Trump a “has-been warmonger” on social media, saying he’s just trying to stay relevant.
🧨 Missiles Everywhere
Since the fighting began:
-
Iran has fired around 400 missiles at Israel.
-
About 40 missiles hit their targets.
-
24 Israeli civilians have been killed.
-
Israel says 224 Iranians, mostly civilians, have died too.
😢 Fear on Both Sides
In Israel, people are hiding in train stations and shelters.
Tamar Weiss, holding her baby, said:
“I’m scared. My neighborhood has no safe rooms. What if a missile hits us?”
🛢️ Oil & the Bigger Risk
Iran also hinted it might block the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow sea path where a lot of the world’s oil ships pass. If that happens, oil prices could shoot up everywhere.
To stop panic, Iran is:
-
Hiding destruction from the public
-
Blocking videos and photos
-
Slowing down the internet
-
Banning people from filming missile attacks
📉 Iran Losing Power?
Iran has allies like Hamas and Hezbollah, but they’re also being hit hard in Gaza and Lebanon by Israel. This means Iran’s ability to strike back is weaker than before.
🔥 What Happens Next?
No one knows yet if Trump will join the war or not. Some say he’s waiting for the perfect moment. Others say he just wants attention.
But one thing’s for sure:
The world is on edge.
And every move now could change everything.
