The Philippine government has just raised a Crisis Alert Level 3 for both Israel and Iran, two countries in the Middle East that are currently at war.
This means things are getting really dangerous there — so dangerous that the government is now telling all Filipinos in those countries:

💥 What’s Going On?
Israel and Iran have been firing missiles at each other for days. This is not just a small fight. It’s a real armed conflict that’s affecting not only soldiers, but also ordinary people — including Filipinos working there.
The Philippine government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), is very worried that our fellow kababayans (countrymen) might get caught in the middle of this scary war.
⚠️ What Does “Alert Level 3” Mean?
When the government raises the alert to Level 3, it means:

The situation is dangerous and getting worse.

Filipinos in that country are strongly encouraged to leave.

The government is offering free help to come home — this is called voluntary repatriation.
So far, there are about:

30,000 Filipinos in Israel (most of them are caregivers)

1,000+ Filipinos in Iran
🇵🇭 DFA’s Message to All Filipinos There
In a public statement, the DFA said:
“We are asking all overseas Filipinos in Israel and Iran to return to the Philippines. It is no longer safe.”
They also said:

Don’t travel to Israel or Iran right now.

Their airports and seaports are closing because of the war.

If you’re already there, call the Philippine embassy so they can help you leave safely.
The DFA promised they’ll keep reviewing the situation, but for now, safety is the top priority.
💬 What the Government Hopes For
The DFA said they’re hoping Israel and Iran will stop fighting soon, but until then, they don’t want to take any chances.
“We hope both sides stop the violence, but we must protect our people first,” the DFA added.
