PAL Launches Manila–Da Nang Flights—Will Travelers Rush In?

Something exciting just took off in the skies! On Tuesday, the Philippine Airlines (PAL) launched a brand-new direct flight route from Manila to Da Nang, Vietnam — and it’s more than just about travel. It’s about friendship, fun, and a whole lot of flying!

🛫 What’s the New Flight All About?

PAL now flies three times a week between Manila and Da Nang — every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

  • Flight PR 585 (Manila to Da Nang)
    🕚 Departs: 11:10 AM
    🛬 Arrives: 12:45 PM

  • Flight PR 586 (Da Nang to Manila)
    🕐 Departs: 1:35 PM
    🛬 Arrives: 5:10 PM

And guess what? By November, they’ll add one more flight per week, making it even easier to fly!

🌏 Why Is This So Special?

At the send-off ceremony at NAIA Terminal 1, Vietnam Ambassador Lai Thai Binh said something powerful:

“This flight is more than just a ride. It’s a bridge between our people, our cultures, and our dreams.”

And he’s right! This launch is happening just as the Philippines and Vietnam are about to celebrate:

🎉 10 years of strategic partnership in 2025
🎉 50 years of friendship in 2026

It’s like throwing a big birthday party in the sky!

📈 Why Does This Matter to Travelers?

Filipinos love visiting Vietnam, and Vietnamese visitors are starting to fall in love with the Philippines too. This new route is a game-changer for people who want to explore more, faster, and cheaper.

Tourism Undersecretary Shahlimar Hofer Tamano said the new flight helps make travel easier for people who are looking for fun and adventure. 🌴🛶🏖️

🤝 A Sign of Strong Friendship

This new flight marks the third destination in Vietnam that PAL now flies to:

  • ✅ Ho Chi Minh City

  • ✅ Hanoi

  • ✅ Now… Da Nang!

PAL now flies 24 times a week to Vietnam, including flights from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City.

That’s a lot of air hugs across the sea! 🤗✈️

🛩️ What Kind of Plane Will Take You There?

PAL is using a big Airbus A321 jet, which can carry 199 passengers. That means almost 200 lucky people can fly in comfort each time.

❤️ More Than Just a Flight

As PAL president Richard Nuttall said:

“This shows how strong the friendship is between the Filipino and Vietnamese people.”

And maybe, just maybe, this flight is more than just about traveling — it’s about bringing hearts and hopes closer.

📍So… will you be booking your seat soon? Because Da Nang is calling — and now it’s just one direct flight away!
