Korea Travel Fiesta 2025: Winter & Family Adventures Await!

Discover Your Next Snow Day Adventure at Korea Travel Fiesta 2025!

Are you ready to embrace the magic of winter? If you’re dreaming of your next snow-filled adventure, look no further! The Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 has officially launched, welcoming Filipinos to explore the enchanting world of Korean winter holidays.

Held recently at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, this vibrant event is brought to life by the Korean Tourism Organization (KTO). Their mission? To spotlight the incredible charms of Korean tourism, especially as the holiday season in the Philippines approaches. “As we enter the joyous ‘ber-months’,” shared Kim Nam Chun, KTO Acting Vice President of Tourism Content Strategy Division, “we invite you to experience the wonders of Korean tourism early this year.”

Imagine wandering through snowy landscapes, embracing cozy evenings, and making unforgettable memories with your family. At the fiesta, attendees can uncover amazing travel deals from airlines and travel agencies, including enticing packages for ski resorts just a stone’s throw from Seoul.

And that’s not all! If you book your flights at the event, you’ll unlock the incredible “1+1 promotion.” Picture this: you purchase a roundtrip ticket to Korea, and voila! You receive free tickets to popular destinations like the idyllic Jeju Island or the vibrant city of Busan. It’s a win-win for your travel dreams.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Dive into the heart of Korean culture by slipping into a traditional hanbok, experiencing personalized skin or color analysis, or even getting cartoonized by talented Korean artists. “We hope these experiences inspire you to plan a memorable Christmas holiday with your loved ones in Korea,” Kim added with warmth.

Here’s some exciting news: the love affair between the Philippines and Korea is blooming. In 2024, Filipino tourists visiting Korea surged by a staggering 51% compared to the previous year. That’s around 520,000 visitors—making the Philippines the largest contributor among Southeast Asian nations. “Tourism exchange continues to flourish,” Kim noted optimistically.

Echoing this sentiment, Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco encouraged Filipinos to explore Korea’s wonders. “I invite our Filipino friends to discover Korea,” she expressed, welcoming Koreans to enjoy the beauty and warmth of the Philippines in return. The commitment to fostering this partnership not only enriches cultural connections but also promotes sustainable tourism, enhanced by new direct flights linking South Korea to Cebu, Clark, Davao, Panglao, and Kalibo.

As part of the celebration, attendees were treated to electrifying performances from the Korean cast of “Dream High.” Featuring artists like ZE:A’s Kim Dongjun and VICTON’s Lim Sejun, they captivated the audience with memorable songs from the musical, including the beloved theme, “Dream High.” There was also an exhilarating taekwondo performance by the K-Tigers, who showcased a dazzling combination of martial arts with captivating music from the hit film “K-Pop Demon Hunters.”

And let’s not forget the charming Kim Myungsoo from Infinite, who left fans spellbound with his renditions of “What’s Not To Love” and “My Universe.”

Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 promises to warm your heart and ignite your wanderlust. Don’t miss out! Join us until Sunday, August 31, and embark on a journey that could be the highlight of your holiday season.

So, are you ready for a winter adventure that you’ll cherish forever? Pack your bags, and let Korea’s winter wonderland captivate your spirit!
