Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco echoed this sentiment, encouraging Filipinos to discover the wonders of South Korea. Through Undersecretary Shahlimar Hofer Tamano, she expressed, “I invite our Filipino friends to explore the wonders of Korea, and I welcome our Korean friends to continue discovering the beauty and warmth of the Philippines.” She emphasized both countries’ commitment to sustainable tourism and highlighted new direct flights from South Korea to Cebu, Clark, Davao, Panglao, and Kalibo, making travel seamless.
