PAL Now Allows Small Dogs on Domestic Flights

For many travelers, a trip isn’t complete without their best friend.

The one who waits by the door.
The one who senses when you’re leaving.
The one who never understands why suitcases mean goodbye.

Now, there’s good news.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has officially expanded its FurPAL program, allowing passengers to bring their small dogs in-cabin on all domestic flights.

Yes — all local destinations.

No more limited routes.
No more choosing between travel and your pet.

Flying Together, At Last

Under the expanded program, passengers can fly with small dog breeds weighing up to 10 kilograms. The dogs must be at least eight weeks old and fully weaned.

The base fare?
₱2,500 one-way.

Each passenger may bring one pet, with a maximum of three small dogs allowed per flight.

PAL calls it more than just a service upgrade.

“As the pioneer of pet air travel in the Philippines, PAL celebrates the unbreakable bond between people and their pets,” the airline shared in an advisory.

And for pet parents, that bond is everything.

It’s comfort.
It’s loyalty.
It’s family.

Safety First — For Everyone On Board

There are, of course, rules to follow.

Pets must be placed in a soft-sided, leak-proof carrier with pee pads and at least two ventilation panels. During the entire flight, they must remain inside the carrier — safely tucked under the seat in front of the passenger.

No roaming.
No lap time.
Just a smooth, safe journey for everyone.

From Island Getaways to Nationwide Access

When FurPAL launched in November 2025, it was limited to select destinations: Boracay, Bohol, and Siargao.

Now, the doors are open wider.

Whether it’s a quick business trip to Cebu, a family reunion in Davao, or a weekend escape to Palawan — small dogs can now come along.

For years, pet owners have faced difficult choices: leave their furry companion behind… or skip the trip altogether.

Today, PAL is making that choice easier.

Because sometimes, the best travel companion doesn’t need a passport.

Just a carrier.
A ticket.
And a seat under yours.
