Sam Milby finally spoke about the viral video of his ex-fiancée, Catriona Gray, crying during singer TJ Monterde’s concert. The emotional moment sparked curiosity, with fans wondering what really happened.
An Emotional Night at the Concert
On Monday’s episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Sam shared that he knew Catriona would be there that night, but he didn’t expect things to get emotional. They were sitting just a few seats apart, making the situation even harder for him.
“TJ’s songs were so beautiful, but I didn’t know they would be that emotional,” Sam admitted.
Then, as he looked over, he saw Catriona crying just a few seats away.
“A woman that I still love and care about is crying… I didn’t know how to react,” he confessed.
People Thought Sam Was Fine—But He Wasn’t
A lot of people thought Sam had already moved on because he looked calm in the video. But according to him, that wasn’t true at all.
“If people thought I was comfortable, I was the complete opposite. I was not comfortable during that concert,” he said.
He added that the night should have been a celebration of beautiful music, especially since his best friend, John Prats, directed the show. But instead, he felt frozen and stuck in the moment.
Sam Still Struggling With the Breakup
Earlier in the interview, Sam also admitted that he hasn’t been handling the breakup well. He even broke down in tears but chose not to share any details.
The couple first went public with their relationship in 2020 and got engaged in 2023. However, last year, fans noticed Catriona had deleted their engagement photos from Instagram, sparking breakup rumors. Sam recently confirmed the split in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
