Philippine Peso Exchange Rates: JUNE 23, 2025

Have you ever wondered how much one country’s money is worth compared to ours, the Philippine Peso? Well, today (June 23, 2025), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) shared new updates—and there’s a lot happening in the world of money!

Here’s what you need to know about the Top 15 Currencies and how strong or weak they are compared to the Philippine Peso (PHP):

💵 1. United States – Dollar (USD)

1 USD = ₱57.22
The US dollar is still very powerful. This means if you have 1 US dollar, you can exchange it for over 57 pesos!

💴 2. Japan – Yen (JPY)

1 JPY = ₱0.39
The yen is small in value, but Japan uses it wisely. It takes about 3 Japanese yen just to equal 1 peso.

💷 3. United Kingdom – Pound (GBP)

1 GBP = ₱76.73
Wow! The British pound is super strong! It’s the most expensive among the top 15 today.

💰 4. Hong Kong – Dollar (HKD)

1 HKD = ₱7.29
The Hong Kong dollar is doing okay. You’d need about 8 pesos to get 1 HK dollar.

🧊 5. Switzerland – Franc (CHF)

1 CHF = ₱70.04
The Swiss franc is like a hidden powerhouse! It’s one of the strongest currencies today.

🍁 6. Canada – Dollar (CAD)

1 CAD = ₱41.60
Canada’s dollar is strong but not as mighty as the US dollar. Still, 1 Canadian dollar can buy you a small snack in the Philippines.

🏝️ 7. Singapore – Dollar (SGD)

1 SGD = ₱44.39
Singapore’s dollar is stronger than Canada’s. If you’re planning a trip to Singapore, better save up!

🦘 8. Australia – Dollar (AUD)

1 AUD = ₱36.74
Australia’s dollar is still strong, but worth a bit less than Singapore’s and Canada’s.

🐪 9. Bahrain – Dinar (BHD)

1 BHD = ₱151.69
WHOA! Bahrain’s dinar is super expensive! It’s the strongest currency in this list. Just one of it can buy a full grocery haul here!

🇰🇼 10. Kuwait – Dinar (KWD)

No data available today
Sadly, there’s no update for the Kuwaiti Dinar today—but it’s usually one of the strongest in the world too!

🕋 11. Saudi Arabia – Riyal (SAR)

1 SAR = ₱15.25
A common currency used by many OFWs. It holds good value but not too high.

🌴 12. Brunei – Dollar (BND)

1 BND = ₱44.22
Brunei shares almost the same value as Singapore’s dollar—they’re very close in strength!

🇮🇩 13. Indonesia – Rupiah (IDR)

1 IDR = ₱0.0035
Indonesia’s rupiah is very, very small in value. You’d need around 285 rupiah just to make 1 peso!

🛕 14. Thailand – Baht (THB)

1 THB = ₱1.74
Thailand’s baht is worth more than the Indonesian rupiah but still small compared to the peso.

🕌 15. United Arab Emirates – Dirham (AED)

1 AED = ₱15.58
Another favorite for OFWs! The Dirham is fairly strong and helpful for Filipino families.

🇪🇺 BONUS: European Union – Euro (EUR)

1 EUR = ₱65.67
The Euro is one of the world’s top currencies and is stronger than the US dollar!

💡 So, What’s the Big Picture?

  • The Bahraini Dinar (₱151.69) and British Pound (₱76.73) are currently among the most powerful currencies.

  • The Japanese Yen, Indonesian Rupiah, and Korean Won are on the lower end of value.

  • The US Dollar (₱57.22) and Euro (₱65.67) remain strong and stable.

  • Many OFW-favored currencies like Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham still hold good value.

📉 BSP Rates:

  • Buying rate: ₱56.90

  • Selling rate: ₱57.40

  • Reference rate: ₱57.15

This tells us how strong the Philippine Peso is compared to money from around the world. And remember: when the peso weakens, it can mean higher prices for imported goods—but also more pesos for OFWs sending money home!
