Pasig River ferry to operate on remaining Aug holidays

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Pasig River Ferry Services has announced that operations will be normal during the remaining holidays in August and the FIBA World Cup.

There will be regular ferry services on August 21, Ninoy Aquino Day; August 25, the opening of the FIBA World Cup; and August 28, National Heroes’ Day.

The management of the ferry transport services reminded the public to plan their trips ahead of time. There are 13 stations that are operational: Pinagbuhatan, San Joaquin, Maybunga, Kalawan, Guadalupe, Valenzuela, Hulo, Lambingan, Sta. Ana, PUP, Lawton, Escolta and Quinta.

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. announced the suspension of classes and government work in Metro Manila and Bulacan on August 25.
