NLEX sets alternative routes during FIBA World Cup

The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation on Wednesday announced suggested routes for participants of the FIBA Basketball World Cup to be held at the Philippine Arena on August 25.

In a statement NLEX said ticket holders are recommended to take the Ciudad de Victoria exit passing through the RFID lane.

With the expected high volume of vehicles, motorists are told to expect a heavy flow of traffic on Friday due to the worldwide event.

Alternate routes via exits in Marilao, Bocaue or Tambumbong have also been provided for vehicles headed towards Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

A truck ban will be implemented in selected municipalities leading to the venue. Local government units will make the detailed announcements in their official pages.
