NLEX closes all roads to PH Arena on FIBA World Cup opening on Aug. 25

AMID the preparations for the upcoming 2023 FIBA World Cup, the NLEX Corp. on Thursday announced the closure to the public of all access points to the Philippine Arena in Ciudad de Victoria, Bulacan.

In an advisory on Facebook Thursday, the access points will be closed starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023.

According to NLEX Corp., the areas concerned are the Ciudad de Victoria toll plaza northbound exit, southbound ramp exit, Igulot intersection access via MacArthur highway and Gate 3 at Barangay Bolakan (backdoor).

“Only P2P (point to point) buses and vehicles authorized by FIBA with valid Vehicle Access and Parking Permits will be allowed to enter Ciudad de Victoria,” the NLEX Corporation stated.

Motorists are urged to take alternate routes, passing through Marilao, Bocaue, or Tambubong.
