MMDA gives Filipino movies 3-year moratorium on amusement tax

Filipino movies have been granted a three-year moratorium on amusement tax in the National Capital Region (NCR), the Metro Manila Council (MMC) said on Wednesday.

MMC president and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said the NCR mayors passed a resolution to help the Filipino movie industry.

“Unanimously naipasa ang isang resolusyon kung saan ang mga lungsod ay sumang-ayon na magkakaroon ng three-year moratorium sa amusement tax on Filipino movies,” Zamora said in a presser. —NB, GMA Integrated News
