KTO’s Acting Vice President of Tourism Content Strategy Division, Kim Nam Chun, expressed the event’s purpose beautifully: “We aim to showcase the diverse charms of Korean tourism, especially during the winter season. Our goal is to inspire you to consider Korea for your holiday getaway!”
The celebration took place at the bustling SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, where visitors discovered a treasure trove of travel deals. Picture this: enticing offers from airlines and travel agencies, alongside amazing ski resort packages just a short trip from Seoul.
Booking your flights during the event? Hold onto your hats! There’s a “1+1 promotion” that offers FREE tickets to must-see destinations like Jeju Island or Busan when you purchase a roundtrip ticket to Korea. What a fantastic way to explore even more of this beautiful country!

Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco echoed this sentiment, inviting both Filipinos and Koreans to explore each other’s stunning lands. “I encourage our Filipino friends to discover Korea’s wonders and welcome Koreans to embrace the warmth of the Philippines,” she said through Undersecretary Shahlimar Hofer Tamano. It’s a beautiful partnership centered around understanding, prosperity, and peace.
With new direct flights between South Korea and destinations like Cebu, Clark, Davao, Panglao, and Kalibo, exploring these two nations has never been easier.
To top off the event, attendees enjoyed dazzling performances from the Korean cast of the beloved musical “Dream High”! Stars like ZE:A’s Kim Dongjun and VICTON’s Lim Sejun lit up the stage, performing the iconic theme song and other hits.
