The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) just released the latest exchange rates showing how much each country’s money is worth in Philippine Pesos (PHP). Here’s what we learned from the rates on April 29, 2025:

United States Dollar (USD)
The U.S. Dollar is worth 56.33 PHP, which is the highest among the top 15 currencies listed! So, if you exchange 1 USD, you’ll get 56.33 Pesos. -
Japanese Yen (JPY)
1 Japanese Yen is only worth 0.3965 PHP. It takes a lot of Yen to equal even just 1 Peso. -
United Kingdom Pound (GBP)
The British Pound is worth a lot more at 75.70 PHP. It’s one of the stronger currencies. -
Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)
1 Hong Kong Dollar is equal to 7.26 PHP. -
Swiss Franc (CHF)
1 Swiss Franc is worth 68.68 PHP. The Swiss Franc is also a strong currency in the market. -
Canadian Dollar (CAD)
1 Canadian Dollar gives you 40.73 PHP. -
Singapore Dollar (SGD)
The Singapore Dollar is equal to 43.05 PHP for 1 SGD. -
Australian Dollar (AUD)
1 Australian Dollar equals 36.22 PHP. -
Bahrain Dinar (BHD)
The Bahrain Dinar is very powerful at 149.46 PHP, making it one of the strongest currencies in the world! -
Kuwait Dinar (KWD)
The Kuwait Dinar didn’t have an exchange rate listed, but it’s known for being one of the most valuable currencies. -
Saudi Arabia Riyal (SAR)
1 Saudi Riyal equals 15.02 PHP. -
Brunei Dollar (BND)
1 Brunei Dollar is worth 42.89 PHP. -
Indonesia Rupiah (IDR)
The Indonesian Rupiah is much weaker, only giving 0.0033 PHP for 1 Rupiah. -
Thailand Baht (THB)
1 Thai Baht is equal to 1.69 PHP. -
United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED)
1 UAE Dirham is worth 15.34 PHP.
These exchange rates help people understand how much their money is worth when they travel to other countries or when they send money abroad.
Some of these currencies are really strong, like the Bahrain Dinar and the British Pound, while others, like the Indonesian Rupiah, are not as strong compared to the Philippine Peso.
