Tragic Incident in Hong Kong: Filipino Family Mourns
On a somber note, the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong shared heartbreaking news on Sunday. A 17-year-old Filipino boy lost his life after a tragic fall from the Chau Tsai Bridge in Peng Chau last Friday evening, June 26.
In a heartfelt statement, the Consulate expressed their sorrow: “We have received notification from the police regarding the death of this young Filipino. He was transported to Pamela Youde Nethersole Hospital by the Hong Kong Government Flying Service, but, sadly, he was declared dead shortly after arrival.”
Authorities confirmed that, at this time, they see no suspicious circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident. Still, the loss of such a young life brings deep sadness to everyone involved.
