Marcos makes surprise visit in Singapore mall to meet OFWs

PRESIDENT Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. capped his working visit in Singapore by making a “surprise visit” at a mall frequented by Filipinos.

The President made a stop at Lucky Plaza Mall on Sunday afternoon to rub elbows with overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who usually gather at the popular mall along Orchard Road on their days off.

“To complete our working visit to Singapore, we surprised our countrymen in Lucky Plaza,” he said in Filipino on his official Facebook page. “Thank you for your unending love and support.”

The OFWs the Chief Executive met could not contain their excitement as they expressed their continued support for his administration and his plans for the Philippines.

Marcos was in Singapore to speak at the Milken Institute’s Asia Summit last week where he discussed priority policies and programs before economic managers and business leaders.
