Korea Travel Fiesta 2025: Unforgettable Winter Family Fun!

Discover Your Next Snow Day Adventure: Korea Travel Fiesta 2025

Are you dreaming of frosty adventures and cozy family moments this holiday season? Look no further! The Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 has just been launched, and it’s overflowing with exciting possibilities for Filipinos seeking their next winter escape.

This vibrant event, held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, was officially kicked off by the Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) on Saturday. The aim? To showcase the incredible allure of travel in South Korea while igniting the desire for winter getaways as the Philippines gears up for its festive “ber-months.”

Kim Nam Chun, Acting Vice President of KTO’s Tourism Content Strategy Division, emphasized the spirit of the season: “As we dive into Christmas preparations, this fiesta invites you to soak in the beauty of Korean tourism ahead of time. We want you to feel the magic and inspiration as you plan memorable holidays with your loved ones in Korea.”

What to Expect

Attendees were treated to a smorgasbord of travel deals from airlines and travel agencies, including fantastic packages for ski resorts just a stone’s throw from bustling Seoul. For those booking flights during the event, the enticing “1+1 promotion” allows you to snag free tickets to other stunning Korean destinations, like serene Jeju Island or vibrant Busan, when you purchase roundtrip tickets to Korea. How’s that for a holiday gift?

The experience doesn’t stop there. Imagine donning a traditional hanbok, indulging in skin or color analysis, or even getting cartoonized by talented Korean artists. It’s all part of immersing yourself in Korea’s rich culture and tourist appeal.

A Growing Connection

As Kim highlighted, the connection between the Philippines and South Korea is thriving. In just one year, the number of Filipino visitors to South Korea soared by an incredible 51%, reaching 520,000 in 2024. This underscores a blossoming tourism exchange that promises even more exciting opportunities ahead.

Christina Frasco, Secretary of the Department of Tourism, echoed this sentiment, inviting more Filipinos to explore the wonders of Korea while welcoming Korean guests to experience the warmth of the Philippines. “Tourism is our shared path to understanding and prosperity,” she affirmed, while spotlighting sustainable tourism initiatives and new direct flights from South Korea to cities like Cebu and Davao, making travel smoother than ever.

An Unforgettable Show

The event was not just about travel deals; it featured a breathtaking performance by the cast of “Dream High” the musical, featuring stars like ZE:A’s Kim Dongjun and Wonder Girls’ Sunye. Their renditions of beloved songs, especially the series’ iconic theme, filled the hall with joy and nostalgia.

Adding to the excitement, the martial arts group K-Tigers electrified the audience with their taekwondo skills, performing heart-stopping moves choreographed for the Netflix hit “K-Pop Demon Hunters.” And who could forget Infinite’s Kim Myungsoo, who left fans spellbound with vibrant performances of “What’s Not To Love” and “My Universe”?

Join the Adventure

So, why wait? The Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 is happening until Sunday, August 31. This event is more than an exhibition; it’s a celebration of cultural exchange, showcasing the beauty and magic that await you in Korea this winter.
