The famous South Korean actor has just finished his mandatory military service and was officially discharged (that means he’s done!) on Tuesday.
What Did He Do in the Military?
In South Korea, all healthy young men have to serve in the military for about 18 months. It’s a big responsibility and a way of helping protect the country.
Lee Do Hyun joined the military in August 2023 and served with the Air Force band — yes, the music group! That means instead of fighting, he helped lift people’s spirits through music, playing and performing for the troops.
What Did He Say to His Fans?
After finishing his service, Lee Do Hyun went on Instagram to share a heartfelt message. He said:
“I did my best and I have no regrets. I leave with happy memories and a good heart.”

He also told fans that he’s working on something special — a space for personal interaction, where he can chat with fans and share stories he hasn’t been able to talk about while he was away.
