The Heat Rising between YUMI and NIXI: A New Era in “Born to Shine”
The stage is set, the lights are dimmed, and the rivalry is about to ignite! In GMA Afternoon Prime’s thrilling musical drama, “Born to Shine,” the fictional P-pop girl groups YUMI and NIXI are ready to battle for supremacy, and the excitement is palpable.
With fresh talent stepping into the spotlight, this week brought thrilling news. According to Athena Imperial’s report on “24 Oras,” two stunning new members have joined NIXI. Enter Lexi Hipolito, the powerhouse vocalist and champion of “The Clash,” alongside the dazzling dancer-influencer Kendall Domingo, portrayed by the talented AC Bonifacio.
Both stars exude enthusiasm as they embark on this incredible journey. AC Bonifacio couldn’t contain her joy, saying, “I’m just glad to be here. I always love doing shows that celebrate performing, dancing, and singing. And this is one of them, so I’m just thrilled to be part of it!”
Her excitement is even more special considering her recent triumph over adversity. AC bravely faced a tough year, recovering from a broken arm. With determination and resilience, she’s back ready for the demanding choreography that awaits. “I was recovering after breaking my arm last year, but now I’m back at it—dancing again!” she shared, a spark of determination in her voice.
But the thrill doesn’t stop there! This series also marks a monumental return for Golden—the incredible talent making her television comeback after a five-year hiatus. During her break, she found solace in Cebu, but now, she’s eager to shine again. “I was given a fantastic opportunity here in ‘Born to Shine,’ and of course, I want to showcase my talent. This is my first time in a series, especially with dancing!” she said, her passion shining through.
Golden’s aspirations don’t end at the stage. As she gears up for the Nursing Licensure Examination next year, her focus remains on making a brilliant comeback in the entertainment industry. In addition to her role in “Born to Shine,” fans can also catch her on “All-Out Sundays” and “The Clash Teens.”
So set your alarms! “Born to Shine” lights up your screens from Mondays to Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
In this world of music and rivalry, the stakes are high, and the emotions run deep. Don’t miss this enchanting battle unfold—because every performance is a step closer to glory!
