Cannes Film Festival pays tribute to Jaclyn Jose

MANILA, Philippines: Festival de Cannes or Cannes Film Festival has paid tribute to the late Jaclyn Jose. The actress made history in 2016 as the first Filipina and first Southeast Asian to win the annual film event’s Best Actress award.

“On learning of the death of Filipina actress Jaclyn Jose, the Festival de Cannes remembers her face beaming with emotion when she received the Award for Best Actress in 2016 in Brillante Mendoza’s Ma’Rosa,” Festival de Cannes wrote across its social media platforms.
