Boracay Bustles as Tourists Celebrate Undas Long Weekend!

Boracay Welcomes Visitors for the Undas Long Weekend!

As the sun rises over the stunning shores of Boracay, excitement fills the air. Tourists from all walks of life are arriving on this breathtaking island, eager to soak up the beauty of its renowned white-sand beaches. It’s Undas weekend — a time for reflection, family, and joy — and Boracay is the perfect destination for making memories.

According to Kim Salinas’ report on “24 Oras,” the waves of visitors are already crossing from Caticlan Port, brimming with enthusiasm for what lies ahead. “This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!” exclaimed Mark Flores, a tourist who can hardly contain his excitement. “We want to try helmet diving!” His words capture the magic of Boracay, a place that has stolen the hearts of many. Sandra David, another visitor, chimed in with a smile, “This place is unique, and many people visit this famous island.”

But it’s not just the sun and sand that draw them here. With so many activities lined up, there’s no shortage of fun! Party boat rides promise exhilarating moments on the water, while sandcastle-making contests invite creativity and a bit of friendly competition. For the adventurous, paraw races add an extra splash of thrill. And as Halloween approaches, the island transforms into a festive hub with trick-or-treat events, lively beach parties, and exciting costume contests.

According to the Malay Tourism Office, over 148,000 tourists have already set foot on Boracay from October 1 to 29. It’s a testament to the island’s growing popularity and charm.

Yet, amidst the celebration, local residents are honoring traditions of their own. At the Manoc-Manoc Public Cemetery, many are busy cleaning and preparing to pay their respects to loved ones. “Tomorrow, we will visit the cemetery, light candles, and bring flowers,” shared resident Lovelyn Salibio, reflecting a touch of solemnity in the festive atmosphere.

Safety is also a priority during this bustling time. Authorities are on standby to ensure everyone enjoys their holiday without a hitch. Richard Alair, the chief security officer of Caticlan and Cagban ports, emphasized, “We have set up tables for emergency situations. Police officers are on duty 24/7.” It’s comforting to know that safety measures are in place as the island fills with laughter and joy.

As more tourists anticipate their arrival in the days ahead, Boracay stands ready — a stunning backdrop for adventures, relaxation, and cherished memories.

Here’s to a weekend filled with beauty, culture, and unforgettable experiences! Welcome to Boracay!
