MikBrent, DustBia Spill Secrets of PBB Collab Housemates

What really happens when the cameras stop rolling?

Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo, Dustin Yu, and Bianca de Vera are finally letting fans in on what it was like working with their fellow “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0” housemates in the upcoming series “The Secrets of Hotel 88.”

During their guesting on Monday’s “Unang Hirit,” the cast—fondly known as MikBrent and DustBi—played a fun game that quickly turned revealing. One by one, they shared “secrets” about their co-stars, drawn from their intense, locked-in taping experience.

And the stories? Honest, heartfelt, and full of charm.

For Dustin Yu, one housemate clearly stood out.
River Joseph, he said, is the most prepared of them all.

“Before every take, siya talaga ‘yung pinaka-focused. Siya ‘yung talagang nagpe-prepare,” Dustin shared, clearly impressed.

Bianca de Vera, on the other hand, highlighted the refreshing authenticity of AZ Martinez and Ralph de Leon.

“What you see is really what you get,” she said. “They’re so real. Sobrang genuine—and ang sweet pa nila sa isa’t isa.”

Mika Salamanca couldn’t help but admire Klarisse de Guzman’s professionalism, especially under pressure.

“Lagi siyang may sakit sa set,” Mika revealed, “pero hindi mo talaga halata. Ganun siya ka-professional.”

Then there’s Esnyr, who, according to Brent Manalo, always brings a dose of chaos—in the best way possible.

“Every time ka-eksena ko siya, feeling ko may bloopers kami,” Brent laughed. “If may bloopers sa bawat episode, siya na ‘yun.”

Finally, Bianca pointed out how Will Ashley’s background as a child actor continues to shine on set.

“Ang bilis niyang maka-pick up ng instructions,” she said. “I guess it’s because he started acting at a young age.”

A joint project between GMA Network and ABS-CBN, “The Secrets of Hotel 88” is a family-mystery drama that dives into love, friendship, and the secrets that bind people together.

And judging by these behind-the-scenes revelations, viewers can expect not just drama on screen—but real chemistry behind it.

The series is set to premiere in the first quarter of 2026.
