President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. posted a sweet message on Facebook to his wife, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary. He started by joking, saying he was amazed that his wife had managed to put up with him for so long without losing her patience.
“Tomorrow is our 32nd anniversary. I’m still mystified how my wife, Liza, has managed to put up with me for so long without going insane,” he wrote in a playful tone.
Then, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Liza for all the love, support, and strength she had given him over the years. “Thank you for your love, patience, and strength. I love you, dear!” he added.
The couple got married in 1993 and have three sons. One of their sons, Sandro Marcos, is a senior deputy majority leader in the Philippine government.
It’s clear that even after more than three decades of marriage, the President is still deeply in love with his wife and grateful for her constant support.
