2,740 pass CPA licensure exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said that 2,740 out of 8,734 examinees passed the September-October 2023 licensure exam, or a passing rate of 31.37 percent.

Allaine Beduya Collamar of the University of the Philippines-Tacloban and Hebban Talib Tawantawan of the University of San Jose Recoletos topped the examination with 91.17 percent rating.

Also in the top 10 are Frances Anne Foronda, Isabela State University-Echague, 90.50 percent; John Patrick Foronda, PHINMA-Upang College Urdaneta Inc., 90.33 percent; Aldrich Carl Galang, Don Honorio Ventura Technology-Sta. Mesa, 90.33 percent; Mark Johnrey Gandia, University of Sto. Tomas, 89.83 percent; Jedrick Manalo Natividad, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa, 89.83 percent; Tyrone Baguio, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, 89.33 percent; Allyssa Nicole Arches, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, 89.17 percent; Paula Angela Magdugo, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 89.17 percent; Megan dela Torre Mendoza, University of San Carlos, 89.17 percent; Kate Wenjie Basoy, University of the Philippines-Iloilo City, 89 percent; Aira Nicole Sabornido, University of the Philippines- Tacloban, 89 percent; Joseph Anelo Ogrimen, University of Sto. Tomas, 88.83 percent; Romelyn Sarmoy Gabanto, Central Philippine University, 88.67 percent; Christiaan James Bautusa Millando, Far Eastern University-Manila, 88.33 percent; Neshel Gustilo Sinco, Ateneo de Davao University, 88.33 percent and Djohamie Denise Urayan, Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, 88.33 percent.

The exam was conducted in testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan on September 30, October 1 and 2, 2023.

The PRC said that the online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certification of Registration is on November 28 to 29, December 1 and December 4 to 7, 2023.
