Philippine Peso Exchange Rates : JULY 30, 2025

That’s exactly what’s happening today in the world of money exchange, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) just gave us the latest update! Let’s break down the Top 15 currencies and explain what’s going on in simple words.

📅 July 30, 2025 – Philippine Peso Exchange Update

The BSP checks how much the Philippine Peso (₱) is worth compared to the money of other countries. This is called the exchange rate, and it changes every day depending on how strong or weak different currencies are.

Here’s how much ₱1 Philippine Peso is worth compared to the Top 15 currencies:

🌍 Top 15 Currencies Explained for Kids (and Everyone Else!)

1️⃣ US Dollar (USD) – 🇺🇸

  • 📈 1 USD = ₱57.29

  • The dollar is strong today. If you want 1 dollar, you need to give 57 pesos!

2️⃣ Japanese Yen (JPY) – 🇯🇵

  • 📈 1 JPY = ₱0.39

  • The yen is small in value, so you’d need around 100 yen to make 39 pesos.

3️⃣ British Pound (GBP) – 🇬🇧

  • 📈 1 GBP = ₱76.51

  • The pound is very strong—1 British pound is worth more than 76 pesos!

4️⃣ Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) – 🇭🇰

  • 📈 1 HKD = ₱7.30

  • You need 7 pesos to match 1 Hong Kong dollar.

5️⃣ Swiss Franc (CHF) – 🇨🇭

  • 📈 1 CHF = ₱71.08

  • Switzerland’s money is one of the strongest! Almost as strong as the pound.

6️⃣ Canadian Dollar (CAD) – 🇨🇦

  • 📈 1 CAD = ₱41.61

  • Canada’s money is stronger than ours but not as strong as the US dollar.

7️⃣ Singapore Dollar (SGD) – 🇸🇬

  • 📈 1 SGD = ₱44.49

  • The Singapore dollar is valuable! You need over 44 pesos for just 1.

8️⃣ Australian Dollar (AUD) – 🇦🇺

  • 📈 1 AUD = ₱37.31

  • The Aussie dollar isn’t too high, but it’s stronger than the peso.

9️⃣ Bahraini Dinar (BHD) – 🇧🇭

  • 📈 1 BHD = ₱151.97

  • Wow! This is the strongest on the list. One dinar is over 151 pesos!

🔟 Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) – 🇰🇼

  • ❌ No rate posted today.

  • Sometimes, the BSP doesn’t list some currencies due to limited activity or data.

1️⃣1️⃣ Saudi Riyal (SAR) – 🇸🇦

  • 📈 1 SAR = ₱15.27

  • Many OFWs use this rate—it’s useful for sending money back home.

1️⃣2️⃣ Brunei Dollar (BND) – 🇧🇳

  • 📈 1 BND = ₱44.32

  • Almost the same value as Singapore’s dollar!

1️⃣3️⃣ Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) – 🇮🇩

  • 📈 1 IDR = ₱0.0035

  • This is very low in value. You need about 285 rupiah to equal 1 peso.

1️⃣4️⃣ Thai Baht (THB) – 🇹🇭

  • 📈 1 THB = ₱1.77

  • The Thai baht is stronger than Indonesia’s, but still lower than the peso.

1️⃣5️⃣ UAE Dirham (AED) – 🇦🇪

  • 📈 1 AED = ₱15.60

  • Commonly used by Filipino workers in Dubai and other parts of UAE.

💰 Wait—what do these numbers mean for OFWs and travelers?

If you’re working abroad (like in UAE, Japan, or the US), and you earn in that country’s currency, the higher the exchange rate, the more pesos you get when you send money home!

If you’re traveling, it’s the opposite: you’ll need to pay more pesos to get those currencies, depending on how strong they are.

🏦 BSP Quick Rates

  • Buying Rate (T/T): ₱57.05

  • 📌 This is what banks use when trading currencies.

🪙 Gold & Silver Rates

  • 🟡 Gold Buying: $3,329.10/oz

  • Silver Buying: $38.20/oz

  • This means gold is getting more expensive, which usually happens when people feel unsure about the global economy.
