It wasn’t just acting that gave Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay chills on the set of their upcoming horror film, “Huwag Kang Titingin.”
Turns out, something spooky really did happen behind the camera.
In a report by Athena Imperial on 24 Oras, Sofia shared a haunting experience she’ll never forget — one that happened just before she entered Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
“May isang scene ako, I won’t say what it was,” Sofia recalled.
“Pero nahagip sa likod ko, may dalawang taong nakatayo — pero wala naman talaga. Nandun sila, tapos umatras pa.”
Chills. Literal chills.
Her co-star Allen Ansay also had his own eerie encounter.
During one take, the camera picked up a shadow moving in the background — even though no one was there.
The two admitted that filming in a cemetery at midnight until early morning made everything even more unsettling. The silence. The cold air. The feeling that someone — or something — was watching.
Despite the spine-tingling moments, the cast and crew finished filming in just 11 days, proving their dedication and bravery.
Directed by Frasco Mortiz and co-produced by GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc., “Huwag Kang Titingin” brings a modern twist to Filipino horror — a chilling mix of Gen Z culture, local folklore, and viral internet challenges that blur the line between reality and fear.
Joining Sofia and Allen in the cast are Marco Masa, Sean Lucas, Josh Ford, Charlie Fleming, Anthony Constantino, Shuvee Etrata, Michael Sager, and Kira Balinger.
They may have survived filming… but viewers are about to face the real scare.
