Patidongan’s Brother Set to Reveal Shocking Truth in Sabungero Case

The mystery behind the missing sabungeros (cockfight players) is getting more intense. A man named Elakim Patidongan, the younger brother of whistleblower Julie “Dondon” Patidongan, has spoken up — and what he said could change everything.

A Shocking ATM Withdrawal

Elakim admitted something big:
Yes, he was the one seen on CCTV withdrawing money from an ATM. But here’s the twist — he didn’t know that the ATM card belonged to Melbert John Santos, one of the missing sabungeros.

He said a police officer gave him the ATM card and told him to use it. At that time, Elakim didn’t think anything was wrong.

“I didn’t know it belonged to one of the missing men. I only found out when I saw it in the news,” Elakim said.

The Cop’s Suspicion

Elakim added that the cop was suspicious. The officer thought Melbert might’ve cheated in a cockfight and wanted to see if any suspicious money went into the account.

Now, Elakim is ready to be a witness in the case.

“I’m ready to tell everything I saw and everything I know,” he bravely said.

Brother Saw the Horror Firsthand

“Dondon,” the older brother, believes Elakim’s testimony is very important. Why?

Because Elakim went to the place where the missing sabungeros were last seen… and it was terrifying.

“He saw the slaughterhouse,” Dondon said.
“He saw how they cut open stomachs and stabbed organs. He got so scared, he couldn’t keep watching.”

It was a horrific scene, and Elakim was there.

Whistleblower Feels Unfairly Targeted

But now, Dondon is frustrated. Even after helping with the case, the Philippine National Police still wants to charge him. Dondon says:

“I already have a case. Why are they filing another one? Why?”

He’s asking Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla to speed up his request for the Witness Protection Program (WPP). He fears he might not survive long enough to get protected.

“It might take a whole year to be part of the WPP,” he warned.

Who Dondon is Accusing

Dondon is not holding back. He says he will file charges against the following people:

  • Charlie “Atong” Ang

  • Eric Dela Rosa

  • A man called “Engineer Salazar”

  • William Ang

  • Actress Gretchen Barretto

Atong Ang and Gretchen Barretto already denied the accusations. Meanwhile, GMA News is still trying to get comments from the others Dondon mentioned.

The Drama Continues

With Elakim now stepping forward, the truth behind the disappearance of the sabungeros might finally come out. But with powerful names involved, and lives at risk, this story is far from over.

Stay tuned — because this case is getting darker and deeper.
