Jessica Soho and the stars of “KMJS’ Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie” are overflowing with gratitude as the film continues to receive waves of support from moviegoers nationwide.
On Friday, as reported by Aubrey Carampel on 24 Oras, Soho and Martin del Rosario — who stars in the segment “Sanib” — spent the day visiting cinemas to personally thank the fans who’ve embraced the film with so much excitement.
They started their mall tour in Manila.
There, they greeted people lining up for tickets, handed out posters, and didn’t hesitate to smile for every selfie request. Fans lit up seeing the KMJS team right in front of them — a rare, heartfelt moment for many.
From Manila, they traveled to a mall in Caloocan, quietly slipping into a theater to surprise the audience. The room erupted with cheers. Another round of selfies followed, filled with laughter and gratitude.
“Maraming salamat po. ‘Yung pagtanggap ng mga manonood… thank you po. Salamat po nang sobra,” Soho said, visibly touched by the warm response.
Martin echoed the emotion.
“I’m proud to be part of this film,” he shared. “Masayang-masaya ako sa mga taong nagbibigay ng magandang feedback… Sana panoorin pa nila sa mga susunod na araw.”
Their day didn’t end there.
The team also visited a block screening sponsored by Alden Richards, where excitement was just as high.
Sanya Lopez — the lead star of “Berbalang,” one of the film’s three chilling stories — was also present, celebrating with fans and supporters.
Alden himself expressed how impressed he was with the movie’s approach to horror.
“I’m very much a fan of horror films,” he said. “Ibang quality, ibang way of storytelling ‘yung ginawa dito. These are real anecdotes from real people… kaya excited na akong mapanood ‘to.”
As “Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie” continues to draw crowds, more and more viewers are sharing their fright-filled, thrilling, and emotional reactions — proof that KMJS has once again created something unforgettable.
