BTS fans were shocked once again after reports surfaced that a woman was arrested for trespassing at the home of global superstar Jungkook.
According to South Korean media outlets Yonhap and The Korea Herald, the incident happened late Saturday night at around 11:20 p.m. in Yongsan, Seoul.
The suspect, a South Korean woman in her 40s, allegedly slipped into the underground parking lot of Jungkook’s residence by closely following another car into the building.
But her actions didn’t go unnoticed. Surveillance cameras quickly caught her movements, and a security guard immediately alerted the Yongsan Police.
When officers confronted her, the woman claimed she was simply “visiting a friend’s home.” Police, however, remain doubtful and are now investigating her true motive.
This is not the first time Jungkook’s privacy and safety have been put at risk. Just a few months ago, in June, a Chinese woman in her 30s was also arrested for allegedly trying to enter the singer’s home—the very same day he was discharged from military service. That case has already been forwarded to prosecutors.
The repeated trespassing incidents have raised fresh concerns over the safety and security of BTS members, who remain among the most recognized and followed artists in the world.
Jungkook, along with fellow member Jimin, was officially discharged from the South Korean military in June after almost two years of service. With all members now back, BTS is preparing for a highly anticipated comeback: a new album and a world tour in 2026.
