US Embassy Issues Strong Warning Against Fake Visa Documents

The United States Embassy in the Philippines has issued a strong warning to people applying for US work visas: Do NOT submit fake documents.

They said some people are being tricked by “document vendors” — individuals or groups who sell fake papers, promising they can help you get a US visa. But instead of helping, these vendors can destroy your chances of ever going to America.

On their official Facebook page, the US Embassy made it clear:

“If you submit fake documents for your work visa application, you are committing fraud. We stay one step ahead of malicious document vendors. Protect your future US travel and job opportunities – tell the truth and do not provide fake documents.”

What Could Happen If You Submit Fake Papers

Earlier this month, the embassy reminded applicants that giving fraudulent (fake) documents is a serious violation. If you do this, you could:

  • Be denied a US visa right away.

  • Lose your eligibility to apply for a US visa in the future.

  • Be banned for life from entering the United States.

The US Department of State has very strict screening and security checks to make sure only honest applications are approved. This is to protect the integrity of the visa system and the security of the country.

How to Report Scams

The embassy urges people to report any visa scams or fraud to this email: FPMManila@state.gov.

They stressed that according to US laws, lying on your application or submitting fake papers is a form of fraud, and the punishment can be severe and permanent.

Why the US Is Strict

In the past, the US State Department has even imposed a visa bond requirement on certain countries with high numbers of people overstaying their visas for business or leisure. This means those applicants had to pay a large deposit before being allowed to travel — to make sure they return home on time.

The embassy’s message is simple but powerful: If you dream of working or traveling to America, honesty is your ticket. Lies can close the door forever.
