If you’re looking for an adventure that’s both beginner-friendly and rewarding, the Nasugbu Trilogy is calling your name.
This unique hike in Nasugbu, Batangas lets you conquer three summits in just one half-day trek—Mount Lantik, Mount Talamitam, and Mount Apayang.
According to Sandra Aguinaldo’s report on State of the Nation, the hike takes only about three hours. Start early in the morning and you’ll be standing on all three peaks before lunchtime.
For hikers, that’s a major win.
“Less challenging siya pero fulfilling kasi in just one hike, nakapunta kami sa tatlong mountains,” shared hiker Tristan Louis Sicat.
“Bearable siya lalo na sa mga first-time hikers. Okay na okay siya.”
And the views? Simply breathtaking.
Tristan says Mt. Talamitam is the best spot of the three. From its summit at 630 meters above sea level (ASL), you can see the entire province of Batangas—and even look back at the other peaks you just climbed.
Mt. Lantik stands at 552 ASL, while Mt. Apayang rises at 662 ASL. Together, they create a trilogy that’s equal parts manageable and magical.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. Batangas is home to many more hiking gems—like the dramatic Mt. Maculot Rockies, famous for its sweeping views, and the ever-popular Mt. Batulao, loved for its friendly trails.
So if you’re planning your next hike, why not start with the Nasugbu Trilogy? Three summits, one hike, endless memories.
