MANILA, Philippines — Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III is in favor of stopping the House inquiry into flood control projects.
He said the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) should do the investigation, not the House of Representatives.
“If it is just up to me, the infra comm, we need to submit already all reports to the ICI,” he said in an interview, referring to the infrastructure committee that started its probe on flood control projects last Sept. 2.
“Many of our countrymen do not believe what is happening in this infra comm. I think it would be best to pass it already to the ICI,” Dy said.
