MANILA, Philippines – Some areas in Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Bulacan, and Laguna will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday.
In Metro Manila, some areas in Bgy. Paltok, Quezon City will have no power on September 15 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. because of the replacement of electricity poles and line reconductoring work along Aragon St.
Affected areas include a portion of Mendoza St. from Natividad St. to Ilagan, Zorra, Anak Bayan, Gomez, Basa, Matias and Zamora Sts.; a portion of Hernandez and Matias Sts. from Ilaw St. including Guevarra, Kundiman, Mendoza and Aragon Sts.; Luzon Foundry Shop, Nascent Technologies, S-3 Ice Tube Ice and Uniwin Multiprinting Corp.
Some areas in Bgy. Balong Bato, Balintawak, and in East Bagong Barrio, Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City will have no electricity on September 16-17 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of line reconstruction, line reconductoring works and replacement of an electricity pole along Quirino Highway in Bgy. Balong Bato.
Places that will be affected are a portion of Quirino Highway from North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) – East Service Road to Caiña Drive, S. Gonzales Drive, Maxima Drive, and Salazar Drive; Teachers Bliss Condominium II and PTHP Compound in Bgy. Balong Bato, Balintawak, Quezon City; and a portion of NLEX – East Service Road from Quirino Highway to Cabrera, Dinalaga, Doce 36, Elon-Elon, Flores, Imelda, Malolos, Mangahan, Peta, Ramelon, Sampaguita, Tanke and Tieramas Sts. in East Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City.
Meanwhile, the whole of Valle Verde Subd. Phase 2 in Bgy. Ugong, Pasig City will have no power on September 16 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of the replacement of electricity poles and line reconductoring work.
In Manila, some places in Quiapo and Sta. Cruz will have no power on September 16-17 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the replacement of electricity poles, line reconstruction works and installation of additional lightning protection devices along Evangelista, Soler and Trinidad Sts.
Affected areas include a portion of Soler St. from Rizal Ave. to Evangelista St. including Sales, Commandante, Calero, Mabolo, Germinal, and Trinidad Sts. in Sta. Cruz; And a portion of Evangelista St. from Recto Ave. to Gonzalo Puyat St. including Esperanza, Florante and Porvenir Sts. in Quiapo.
In Muntinlupa City, some areas in Bgy. Alabang, Bayanan and Putatan will have power interruptions on September 17-18 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. because of the installation and retirement of electricity facilities along Bautista and San Guillermo Sts. in Bgy. Bayanan.
Places that will be affected include a portion of Bautista St. from Manila South Road to Baywalk St. including L&B Compound 1, Filrizan Subd., Sunrise Subd., San Juan Compound and Tavera Compound; Purok 2, 3, 5-PNR, 6 & 7C in Bgy. Alabang, Bayanan and Putatan; and a portion of San Guillermo St. from Bayanan Bridge to and including Lakeview Homes 2 Subd., Jamcels Villa Arciaga Subd. and Bagong Paraiso Subd. in Bgy. Bayanan and Putatan.
Several areas in Bgy. San Lorenzo and Pio Del Pilar in Makati will also experience power interruptions on September 17-18 between 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. because of the replacement of electricity facilities and line reconductoring works along V. A. Rufino (Herrera) and Amorsolo Sts. in Legaspi Village, Bgy. San Lorenzo.
Between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and then between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m., areas that will have no power are a portion of Don Chino Roces Ave. (Pasong Tamo) from Dela Rosa St. to near Antonio S. Arnaiz Ave. including Baterryworld Inc., Makati Cinema Square, Caltex Gas Station, One Oculus Center, Matrinco Bldg., Herald Suites, Orinda Land Corp., Soliman Security Services Inc., Varsun Plaza, Wisemen Consultancy & Management Corp., King’s Court, Makati Cinema Square Condominium Corp. and Mercury Drugstore in Bgy. Pio Del Pilar; and Kayamanan A, Bgy. San Lorenzo.
Between 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., those that will be affected are a portion of Adelantado St. from V. A. Rufino St. (Herrera) to Alexander House in Legaspi Village, Bgy. San Lorenzo; a portion of V. A. Rufino St. (Herrera) from Adelantado St. to Don Chino Roces Ave. (Pasong Tamo) in Legaspi Village, Bgy. San Lorenzo; a portion of Amorsolo St. from Mile Long Bldg. to McDonald’s, Makati Creekside Bldg. and Amorsolo Mansion in Legaspi Village; and a portion of Don Chino Roces Ave. (Pasong Tamo) near S. Javier St. including Manila New Life Church Inc. and Marvin Plaza Bldg. in Bgys. Pio Del Pilar and San Lorenzo.
In Rizal, the whole of Kingsville Executive Village in Bgy. Mayamot, Antipolo will have no electricity on September 16 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line reconductoring work and replacement of an electricity pole along Sumulong Highway.
In Laguna, some areas in Bgy. Mamatid and San Isidro, Cabuyao City will have power interruptions on September 17-18 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the installation and retirement of electricity poles, and line reconductoring works along Mabuhay Road in Bgy. Mamatid.
Places affected include a portion of Mabuhay Road from San Isidro Road to Cluster Series Phase 5 Subd., Extraordinary Homes Subd. and Mabuhay City Subd. Phases 1, 3 Extension, 3 Luxury Series, 3 Cluster Series, 3, 5 & 6 in Bgy. Mamatid and San Isidro; and a portion of San Isidro Road from Mamatid Road to Mabuhay Road in Bgy. Mamatid.
In Bulacan, some areas in Bgy. Bagong Buhay and Citrus in San Jose Del Monte City will have no power on September 18 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. because of line reconductoring works, and also because of the relocation, replacement, retirement and upgrading of some electricity facilities in Bgy. Citrus.
Affected areas include a portion of Matahimik St. from Citrus Road to Purok 6; RC-11, UC-2, UC-3 and UC-4 Sts.; Citrus Seventh-day Adventist Church and Citrus Cemetery in Bgy. Bagong Buhay and Citrus; a portion of Citrus and South Roads from Matahimik St. to RC-10 Barangay Outpost, Citrus Barangay Hall, Citrus National High School, Bagong Buhay G Elementary School and Blessed Church Bulacan C&C Partners; Sampaloc, Mangga, RC-2, RC-3, RC-4, RC-5, RC-11, TC-6, TC-18 and UC-3 Sts.; in Bgy. Citrus; and a portion of Sampaloc St. from Citrus Road to and including Iglesia Ni Cristo – Lokal Ng Citrus in Bgy. Citrus.
In Cavite, some places in Bgy. Carsadang Bago 1 and 2, Imus City, will have no electricity on September 18 between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. because of the relocation of electricity poles affected by a DPWH road widening project along NIA Road nearcthe affected areas.
Those that will have no electricity are a portion of NIA Road from Palazzo Bello Subd. to and including Country Mile Homes Subd., Pacific Terraces Community North Subd., Grand Residences Subd. and Reyes Compound; Saint Simon of Cyrene Academy, Southdale International School Of Sciences, Arts & Technology and Harvest Marketplace in Bgy. Carsadang Bago 1 and 2.
Also, some areas in Bgy. Molino III and IV in Bacoor, Cavite will have no power on September 18 between 9 a.m. and 12 noon because of the installation of electricity facilities and line reconstruction works along M. V. Villar Ave. in Bgy. Molino III.
Places affected are a portion of M. V. Villar Ave. from Dove St. to Daang Hari Road including Camella Cerritos Subd. Phases 1 and 2, Camella Springville Executive II Subd., Camella Springville East Phase 2 Subd., Camella Springville Meadows Subd., Camella Springville South Subd. Phases 1 and 2, Ponticelli Subd. Phases 1 and 2, Ponticelli Gardens 2 Subd., Cerritos Heights Subd., Cerritos Heights Expansion Subd., Cerritos Hills Subd. Phases 1 and 3, Cerritos Terraces Subd., Cuevasville Subd., Lessandra Executives Subd. and Lessandra Heights Subd. in Bgy. Molino III and IV.
Also, some areas in Gateway Business Park in Bgy. Javalera, Gen. Trias will have power interruption on September 20 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line reconstruction works.
To be affected are the Gateway Business Park Administration Bldg., Globe STT Data Center, Analog Devices Gen. Trias Inc., CDI Sakata Inx Corp., Daejin Hi-tech Phils., Epson Precision (Philippines), Fujihiro (Phils.), Greenkraft Corp., GRM Ecozone Storage, JAE Phils., PSTP EMS Inc., Petvalue Phils, Synergy Sales Int’l Corp., First Orient Dev’t & Construction (FODC Temporary Site), SSMC Satellite Hospital and Unilever Phils.
In Batangas, some areas in Bgy. Calicanto, Kumintang Ibaba and Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas City will have no electricity on September 18-19 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of ageing electricity facilities in Arce Subd., Brgy. Kumintang Ibaba.
Those that will be affected include a portion of Maselang St. from Calicanto Crossing to Tramo St. including Arce 1 and 2 Subds., Villa Neneng Subd., FPIC Housing Compound and Lourdes Compound; DPWH Batangas 1st District Engineering Office, Provincial Engineer’s Office Compound and Greenhills Christian Fellowship (GCF) Batangas in Bgy. Calicanto, Kumintang Ibaba and Kumintang Ilaya.
In Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Batangas Paper Corp. in Bgy. San Felix will have no power on September 21 between 6 a m. and 6 p.m. because of various National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) line maintenance works along the NGCP Bay – Calamba 69-kilovolt transmission lines.
