A new horror movie is on its way—one that promises to bring chills, thrills, and a fresh take on Filipino fears.
Former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemates Shuvee Etrata, Charlie Fleming, Michael Sager, and Josh Ford are set to headline Huwag Kang Titingin, alongside a powerhouse lineup of Sparkle artists.
Joining them are Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Marco Masa, Sean Lucas, and Anthony Constantino. Although Shuvee and Charlie were unable to attend the recent story conference due to prior commitments, their names alone brought excitement to fans.
Director Frasco Mortiz gave a glimpse of what audiences can expect. According to him, Huwag Kang Titingin mixes the terror of Filipino folklore with today’s viral internet challenges—turning something familiar into something deadly.
The film is a collaboration between GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc., who officially sealed their partnership during a contract signing on Thursday.
Present at the signing were GMA Network executives Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group; Nessa Valdellon, Senior Vice President for Public Affairs; and Mentorque Productions Inc. CEO John Bryan Diamante.
Gozon-Valdes shared her excitement about working with Mentorque, the company behind acclaimed films such as Mallari, Kono Basho, and Uninvited.
“We have a great story, an exciting cast, and a very strong partner in Mentorque,” she said. “It’s our honor to work with them on this first venture together.”
With a thrilling cast, a fresh story, and two powerhouse companies behind it, Huwag Kang Titingin is shaping up to be a horror film audiences won’t dare to miss.
