PROMINENT developer Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), the real estate arm of major conglomerate JG Summit Holdings Inc., will be honored with a trophy at The Manila Times Sustainability Champions Awards, an event that will be launched at Conrad Manila, Pasay City on Sept. 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
At the awards show with the theme “Envisioning our green future,” RLC will be honored with a sustainability champion trophy for pursuing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) with a keen eye on SDG 6, or Clean Water and Sanitation; SDG 7, or Affordable and Clean Energy; SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 12, Responsible Consumption and Production; and SDG 13, Climate Action.
Robinsons Land Corp. invests in rainwater harvesting technologies along with wastewater treatment and recycling facilities while upholding Clean Water and Sanitation. In this manner, RLC reduces the consumption of water and the discharge of wastewater.
Like many of its real estate contemporaries, Robinsons Land Corp. has installed solar panels on many of its developments, greatly reducing the reliance on grid electricity while promoting Affordable and Clean Energy.
RLC encourages cycling as a sustainable mode of transportation through bike parking and repair stations, and it also supports local food producers through programs such as “Locally sourced” fairs while furthering Sustainable Cities and Communities.
