On Monday night, the weather experts at PAGASA (that’s the group who watches the weather in the Philippines) gave a serious warning because really strong rains are coming from something called the Southwest Monsoon, also known as Habagat.
📢 RED RAINFALL WARNING ISSUED AT 8 PM
This is the most dangerous kind of rain warning! It means that there will be very heavy rains that can cause big floods fast!
🟥 Places under RED WARNING:

Metro Manila – that’s where the capital city is!

Bataan – a province near the sea

Bulacan (only these towns):
Obando, Meycauayan, Marilao, Bulakan, Malolos, Paombong, Hagonoy, San Jose del Monte
👉 People in these places should be very careful. If you live in areas that flood easily, it’s best to stay safe, don’t go outside, and be ready to evacuate if needed.
🟧 ORANGE RAINFALL WARNING: Still dangerous!
This means strong rains that might also lead to flooding.

👉 People in these places must also stay alert because floodwater could rise any moment.
🟨 YELLOW RAINFALL WARNING: Be prepared!
This is a warning that says rain is coming, and there might be flooding in low areas or near rivers.

💧 Also, Nueva Ecija is getting light to heavy rains that could last up to 3 hours, so folks there also need to be cautious.
