Over half a million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines on Friday morning, according to Luisito Santos’ report on Super Radyo dzBB.
The 600,000 doses, which were procured by the private sector, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 at 9:14 via a China Airlines flight.
Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., who welcomed the arrival, said 80% of the batch would go to local government units outside the National Capital Region while 20% would go to the private sector.
Also present during the arrival was presidential adviser for entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion. –KBK, GMA News
