On July 25, 2025, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) released its official currency exchange report, showing how much 1 unit of different countries’ money is worth when converted to Philippine pesos.

This matters a lot, especially if you’re sending money to loved ones, traveling abroad, buying imported goods, or even just curious how the peso is doing in the world!

Let’s break it down—just like explaining to a 4th grader! 😊📉💸

💱 What’s Going On With the Top 15 Currencies?

We checked the Peso Equivalent, which shows how many pesos you’d get (or need) for just 1 unit of another country’s money.

💵1. United States – Dollar (USD)

  • 1 USD = ₱56.67

  • The U.S. dollar is still super strong. If you have $1, you can exchange it for almost ₱57.

💴2. Japan – Yen (JPY)

  • 1 JPY = ₱0.39

  • The yen is small compared to pesos. You need about 3 yen just to get ₱1.

💷3. United Kingdom – Pound (GBP)

  • 1 GBP = ₱76.57

  • Wow! The British pound is one of the strongest. ₱76 for just £1? That’s heavy!

💲4. Hong Kong – Dollar (HKD)

  • 1 HKD = ₱7.22

  • The HK dollar is mid-range. You’d need about 7 pesos to get 1 HK dollar.

🇨🇭5. Switzerland – Franc (CHF)

  • Swiss money is also strong, nearly ₱72 per franc. That’s luxury bank level! 🏦

🍁6. Canada – Dollar (CAD)

  • 1 CAD = ₱41.53

  • Canadian dollars are worth less than U.S. dollars, but still more than pesos.

🦁7. Singapore – Dollar (SGD)

  • 1 SGD = ₱44.36

  • Singapore’s currency holds up well. A ₱44+ exchange rate means it’s still strong!

🦘8. Australia – Dollar (AUD)

  • Aussie dollars are worth less than SGD and CAD, but still stronger than the peso.

🏝️9. Bahrain – Dinar (BHD)

  • Whoa! The strongest so far. Just 1 dinar = ₱150+! No wonder many OFWs work there.

🇰🇼10. Kuwait – Dinar (KWD)

  • No data

  • The exchange rate wasn’t listed, but usually, it’s even higher than Bahrain’s.

🕋11. Saudi Arabia – Riyal (SAR)

  • 1 SAR = ₱15.11

  • One of the most common OFW currencies. Still strong and steady.

🇧🇳12. Brunei – Dollar (BND)

🇹🇭14. Thailand – Baht (THB)

  • 1 THB = ₱1.76

  • One baht is almost ₱2, so it’s stronger than many Asian currencies.

🇦🇪15. United Arab Emirates – Dirham (AED)
