If you’ve ever wondered how much money from other countries is worth when compared to the Philippine peso, this update from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) gives us the answer!

Every day, money experts from the BSP watch the values of currencies (that’s what we call the different types of money in every country), and today, they just released the Reference Exchange Rate Bulletin for July 18, 2025. This shows how strong or weak the money of other countries is when traded for Philippine pesos.

Let’s take a look at what’s going on with the top 15 currencies, explained simply!

💡 Why Does This Matter?

📈 If you’re sending money to or from another country, the value of your money can go up or down depending on the exchange rate.

🌍 The BSP also watches global events like wars, elections, and the economy to see how they affect currencies.

💬 For example: If the US dollar gets stronger, it’s great for OFWs sending money home from America! But it also means imported goods become more expensive in the Philippines.
