PCG records 14,833 travelers in Philippine seaports on Black Saturday
The Philippine Coast Guard monitored a total of 14,833 inbound and outbound passengers in all seaports across the county as of 6 a.m. Saturday.
In a Twitter post, the PCG said its monitoring and inspection efforts are part of its operation plan for a safe Holy Week travel dubbed OPLAN BIYAHENG AYOS: SEMANA SANTA 2022.
Of the 14,833 travelers in all seaports, 8,706 were outbound; and 6,127 were inbound.
On the other hand, the PCG said it has deployed 2, 370 personnel to its stations and substations nationwide, adding that it has inspected 127 sea vessels, and 130 motorbancas. –LBG, GMA News
