MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will name this week a new set of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) officials who will form the nucleus of Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon’s team in the investigation of massive corruption in the implementation of flood control projects.
Dizon disclosed on Tuesday that his team will be composed of new undersecretaries and assistant secretaries. He did not name names but expressed hope that the Office of the President will announce them this week.
The DPWH chief said that two retired generals will join his team.
“Let’s wait for the Office of the President to announce the names of the appointees, which include two retired generals. Most of them are undersecretaries and assistant secretaries,” he added.
