Former Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson voluntarily submitted herself to a drug test on Tuesday (October 23).
The celebrity blogger appeared at the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) office earlier for the test.
She challenged all election candidates to do the same in response to the call of PDEA ahead of the 2019 midterm polls
Currently, House Bill 7621 remains stalled at the committee level of the Lower House of Congress.
It seeks to implement mandatory drug testing to all election candidates as well as appointed officials of the government across the country. —Marje Pelayo (with reports from Grace Casin)
