MOA Arena Unveils ‘The Cube’: Bigger, Brighter Jumbotron!

The Mall of Asia Arena (MOA Arena) in Manila has just gotten a huge upgrade! It’s 13th year of operations is marked by a brand new jumbotron, which is an enormous screen called “The Cube.” This new screen is not only bigger but also brighter and better than the old one that has been there since 2012.

So, what’s so special about “The Cube”? Well, this new jumbotron is worth over P2 million and weighs a massive 1,152 kilograms! It was made by Daktronics, a company that is famous for creating scoreboards and big screens in well-known places like Madison Square Garden in New York and the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

“The Cube” is way bigger than the old screen. It has a total size of 176 square meters compared to the old one, which only had 138 square meters. It also has a 672×1344 LED display (that means it shows super clear images!). Plus, the screen now has two LED rings: one on top that is 30 square meters and one at the bottom that is 18 square meters. This makes the display 117% better than the old screen.

Why does this matter? Well, the new screen can show a lot more things! It can split into different frames, show text, video replays, game scores, and even show live fan cams so everyone can be part of the action. Whether you’re watching a concert, a basketball game, or any event, “The Cube” will make sure you never miss a thing.

And don’t worry, this amazing screen is built to last for at least 10 years with regular care and updates. That means people visiting MOA Arena will get to enjoy this giant screen for many more years to come!
