Miss Universe Thailand Exec Breaks Silence, Issues Apology

The pressure is high. The spotlight is harsh.
And in the middle of a global pageant storm — one man says sorry.

Miss Universe Thailand national director Nawat Itsaragrisil has publicly apologized after the recent controversy that rocked the Miss Universe activities in Thailand.

In an Instagram Story reposted by Bunda Latinas, Nawat said:

“If anyone feeling not good… not comfortable… affected…
I do apologize for everyone.”

He explained that he personally spoke with around 75 candidates to apologize and clear the air.

“This is my dream… I want a five-star experience”

Nawat said he has always tried to give top-quality service to every delegate:

“I prepare everything for everybody — every country.
I wish to make history.
This is my dream.”

He insisted that every announcement was real — nothing fake.
However, he admitted things got messy:

“Maybe they’re confused… very complicated.”

To fix the issue, Nawat said he will meet with the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) in Thailand.

Right now, he claims:

“No one has authority in Miss Universe in Thailand.”

He plans to request a CEO who will take full charge on the ground.

The Tension Everyone Saw

This all comes after a video circulated showing Nawat in a heated confrontation, followed by him calling security. That incident involved Miss Universe Mexico’s candidate, Fatima Bosch.

Mexico’s organization strongly reacted:

“No woman deserves to be insulted or humiliated.”

Current Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig also showed support for Fatima, saying standing up for oneself is a sign of self-respect and courage.

Organizers Step In

MUO released a statement committing to work closely with the Thailand host community, Miss Grand International (MGI), and event partners to ensure the success of Miss Universe 74.

A high-level MUO delegation led by CEO Mario Búcaro will travel to Thailand to strengthen cooperation.

The Pageant Must Go On

Despite the drama, the show continues.

The Miss Universe 2025 pageant will take place on November 21 — and Filipinos are proudly cheering for Ahtisa Manalo, who represents the Philippines.

With emotions running high and fans watching every move…
everyone is hoping for a more peaceful journey to the crown.
