From viral stars to rising actors—Mika Salamanca and Shuvee Etrata are officially heading to the big screen!
The Sparkle talents are set to join no less than comedy superstar Vice Ganda and multi-awarded actress Nadine Lustre in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Call Me Mother.
From PBB to the Big Screen
The exciting news was revealed on Instagram, where Sparkle posted a behind-the-scenes photo taken by award-winning director Jun Robles Lana. The shot featured Mika, Shuvee, and their Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemates—Brent Manalo, Esnyr Ranollo, and Klarisse De Guzman—all smiles as they began filming.
The caption proudly read:

The Pamilya De Guzman Magic
The group—fondly known as Pamilya De Guzman—has been winning hearts online with their fun, authentic bond. Aside from Mika, Shuvee, Klarisse, Esnyr, and Brent, the squad also includes fellow Sparkle star Will Ashley.
Together, they launched an Instagram broadcast channel that now boasts over 1 million subscribers, proving just how powerful their fandom has become.
Big Moves Ahead
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Mika, Shuvee, Will, and Esnyr are also set to appear as special guests at Klarisse’s much-anticipated concert, The Big Night, happening on September 26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
