These inspectors, who always work anonymously, are now preparing for the big restaurant reveal in 2026, which many food lovers are already waiting for.
The Michelin Guide first welcomed six hotels in September 2024, then added five more in May 2025, before this latest expansion that makes the total 20 recognized hotels across the Philippines.
Later this year, in the last quarter of 2025, the Michelin Guide will hold a special event to officially unveil its restaurant selection for Manila, nearby provinces, and Cebu. This is expected to create a huge buzz, not just in the local culinary industry, but also among international travelers and foodies eager to see the Philippines shine on the global stage.
