Hi everyone! This is a super easy-to-understand version of the speech given by President Bongbong Marcos (we also call him “BBM”) to all the leaders of the Philippines and to every Filipino. Let’s imagine he’s talking to us like a friendly teacher in class, explaining how our country is doing.
👋 HELLO, MGA KABABAYAN!
“Magandang araw po sa inyong lahat!” That’s how President BBM started his speech. He was speaking in front of many important people—senators, congressmen, government workers, and of course, all Filipinos watching at home.
📈 HOW IS THE PHILIPPINES DOING?
President BBM shared some good news. He said:

Our country’s economy is growing (that means we’re earning more money as a country).

More jobs are available now, so more people have work and can earn for their families.

The prices of basic goods like rice, meat, and vegetables are being watched closely so they don’t become too expensive.

He said that foreigners are trusting us again and more businesses are coming to invest here. That means they want to build offices or factories in the Philippines, giving more jobs to Filipinos.
🌾 FOOD, FARMERS, AND FISHING
BBM said we should not always buy food from other countries. We must grow our own! He told us:

He is helping farmers and fishermen by giving tools, machines, and better seeds.

He wants our land to be planted with more food.

The government gave lands to farmers for free. Yes, libre! So they can plant and earn.
🏥 HEALTH FOR EVERYONE
BBM said that Filipinos should be healthy. Here’s what he’s doing:

Making hospitals and health centers better and easier to go to.

Giving free check-ups and medicine, especially to poor families.

Helping doctors and nurses get more training and better pay.
📚 EDUKASYON PARA SA LAHAT
He said, “Basta’t may sipag at tiyaga, may magandang kinabukasan.” (If you work hard and study, your future will be bright!)

He wants every child to go to good schools with free education and healthy food in school.

Teachers will get more help and better tools to teach.

He’s teaching kids not just math and English, but also life skills, like farming, tech, and money handling!
🚧 ROADS, INTERNET, AND BUILDINGS
BBM proudly said:

More roads, bridges, and buildings are being built all over the country.

Internet is getting faster and better, even in faraway provinces.

There are new trains and transportation systems being built.
⚡ CHEAPER ELECTRICITY AND CLEANER ENERGY
The President wants electricity to be cheaper so people can save money.

🧓 HELPING THE ELDERLY AND THE POOR
He promised to continue helping:

🌏 PHILIPPINES ON THE WORLD STAGE
President Marcos said:
