“2017 proved to be my toughest to date, but it’s nothing compared to what others experience in calamities, war, etc. I am still so grateful to Him; for my family, friends, & even people I haven’t met or do not know, for your amazing support.”
Dr. Ging also wrote that she prefers silence over lawsuits, saying, “2017 also made me realize I’m already very tired, and maybe a little old, since I prefer peaceful silence over a tell-all and lawsuits.”
Apart from being a physician, Dr. Ging is also a clinical associate professor at University of the Philippines College of Medicine. She is also one of the recipients of the Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) Awards back in 2016, and is a philanthropist and advocate for lupus.
Dr. Ging was also found posting cryptic quotes on her Instagram recently, but have since deleted them. One netizen (@kcdelro) however shared screenshots of the quotes, which read: “It’s never too early to teach our daughters good morals. Don’t get toys that don’t belong to you. And when they’re older, change ‘toys’ to ‘boys.’”
The other read, “Nothing can ever justify ruining something and taking what’s not yours.”
Netizens, meanwhile, gave their own take regarding the matter at hand. One named Joyce (@joycenicole) wrote last March 16, “Everyone’s admiring Liz Uy’s ‘bravery’ without even realizing the amount of heartache she caused another woman.”
Another netizen, (@gigi-hadidnt) wrote, “Respeto kay Ging. Respeto sa tunay na pamilya ni Raymond. Stop calling Liz Uy an It Mom because she is not. Never ever compare her to her ‘It Girl’ friends coz all of em are decent.”
Others, meanwhile, defended Uy and cried foul over the double standards.
A certain Denice (@theniecejann) wrote last March 17, “Most people out here bashing Liz Uy for being a homewrecker but I don’t see Raymond Racaza getting the same intense sh*t that Liz is having? Don’t forget, he also made a conscious decision to cheat on his relationship. Double standards, damn.”
“Everyone is talking about how LIZ UY is a slut, a homewrecker, calling her names which is NOT OKAY,” wrote one netizen (@bashafierce) today. “But NO ONE is talking about the baby’s daddy, RAYMOND RACAZA, like he’s not equally at fault. What is wrong with people! Double standard much?”
As of today, Uy has not made any statements to address the adultery allegations. JB
