Julia Barretto admitted that she and her onscreen partner Joshua Garcia have learned a lot from watching their seniors Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla on the set of their new movie, “Unexpectedly Yours”.
According to Rappler, the actress who appeared at the press conference of the said movie recently, stated that they have not only learned more about acting, but also on how to communicate with the cast and crew from the two actors.
Said Barretto, “You see how they treat people on the set. The staff and crew were able to get their energy from the two of them.”
“They themselves are the captain of the ship. If they have great energy, the others will follow. So, they’re really good examples,” she added
She also recently shared a photo of the four of them online and wrote, “I hope everyone gets the same chance to work with both [Sharon Cuneta] and [Robin Padilla]. They will inspire you to be a kinder, more humble and more passionate human being. Joshua and I are so thankful to have been part of this reunion film!”
In the movie, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, Barretto plays the role of Cuneta’s daughter, who finds herself being wooed by Garcia, who plays Padilla’s nephew in the movie.
