Israel envoy seeks PH support
Israel, through its diplomatic mission in Manila, on Sunday asked for an expression of support from the Philippine government as fighting between Israeli troops and Hamas rages.
In a media briefing via Zoom, Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss said that they expect their Filipino friends in the government and in the private sector to express their support for Israel’s right to defend itself from the Hamas militants who attacked several towns and cities.

The envoy expressed hope that the Philippines will come out with an expression of support and condemnation of the attacks.
Fluss gave assurances that his country will continue to protect Filipinos in Israel.
